Welcome to Beads of Tubac!

I look forward to seeing you at my new location in Tubac - 5 Hesselbarth Lane.

My expanded space has made it possible to not only offer a wide variety of beads, findings, beading supplies, and yarn, but now I also offer a large range of quality art supplies as well.

Art classes are going to be offered after the first of the year. So be sure to check out my new Art Class page and find a schedule of classes and workshops that works for you!

Meanwhile, I hope you enjoy your tour of my website. If we've not met, my name is Margaret and I've been in Tubac since 1991. I've been designing and repairing jewelry since 1985 and I am a graduate GIA gemologist. In 2001, I offered a few beads for sale from my private collection and found the interest overwhelming. One small corner exploded into several walls and then the entire store took on a life of its own with beads. This has convinced me that beading is an exciting and wonderful habit which is shared by beaders all over the world. (And, by the way, a cure for this habit is non-existent.) Of course all of this didn't just happen by osmosis. I think my experience and love for jewelry may have had a little to do with the transformation of my shop into a delightful, well-stocked bead store. I hope you enjoy exploring every corner of it!

Because of the unique nature and constant flux of bead-related merchandise, I do not offer a catalog at this time. However, this is not to say there will never be one. I'm just not up to the task at the moment. You can find lists (albeit incomplete) of beads and supplies that I offer on my Beads page. Please keep in mind that these lists are not all-inclusive, so please feel free to with inquiries of availability for any particular item.
