Beading Classes

The classes this year will focus on techniques you can enhance and make your own. The Anklet, teaches how to knot with Natural Silk Bead Cord. You can apply this to bracelets, necklaces or just knotting pearls. You will make two anklets using different beads for each.

Bead Loom

The series on the Bead Loom will take you from learning how to load and use the loom, to making three completely different bracelet's. The first bracelet is a simple loom technique. The second loom bracelet has a whimsical look, and the last loom bracelet incorporates different techniques for exquisite loom work.

Wire Pendant and Spiral Necklace

The Wire Pendant and Spiral Necklace, is a joint class with fellow Bead Artist, Annelle Fletcher. This class will teach you two different mediums that stand alone, or when paired together make quite a statement. The first class taught by Annelle will be a wire wrapped pendant made with a bail to incorporate my Spiral necklace to complete this beautiful project.

Biography

Although I have taught numerous mediums of Art thru the years, beading has remained my favorite! I have loved the arts since I was a little girl wondering around the house creating art with what ever I could find. I am primarily self taught and have been teaching since 1989. I enjoy teaching and opening the doors to a wonderful world of creating with beads. I have focused on Bead Weaving the past years, and enjoy letting my imagination run with bead colors and shapes.
